Multiple appointment takers can set appointments simultaneously. Appointments can be taken by personnel at the client's site, by answering service agents, or by anyone who has an internet connection and the appropriate login authorization. No "double booking" will occur because all appointment takers are working from the same web-based database, and once a slot has been booked, it is no longer available to other appointment takers.
Appointments can be booked as "accepted" or as "tentative". The client's staff can then "accept" a tentative appointment or they can request that it be re-scheduled or cancelled by the appointment taker.
"Accepted" appointments are then flagged to remind the appointment taker to make one or more confirmation calls to verify that the person requesting the appointment is still planning to be there.
Color-coded entries make it easy for the appointment taker to determine each appointment's status.
The client can be notified of the status of all appointments via e-mail, or they can check appointment status on the web at any time.
Regularly scheduled reports, showing appointments for the next day or for the next week, can be sent via fax or e-mail.
Any TAS or call center operator can use Tascom's web-based appointment scheduling software via Internet Explorer, regardless of their existing telephony equipment.
Tascom SQL Digital System users will have the added advantage in that calls from individuals seeking appointments will "pop" on an agent's screen to the client's appointment schedule. Also, reminder and confirmation calls will be automatically presented to Tascom System agents.
